
Diego Noriega is an Emmy-nominated Director of Photography whose work blends striking visuals with purposeful storytelling, establishing himself as one of DFW's most trusted Cinematographers behind the camera.
Recently Diego's leadership extended to writing, directing, and serving as the Cinematographer on “Let’s Play” a commercial for Dallas Trinity FC women’s pro soccer team, airing throughout Peacock TV all of Fall 2025.
In 2024, Diego joined DHD Films as Senior Director of Photography, a role that has further showcased both his artistry and leadership. He has helmed projects of national significance, including serving as Director of Photography for the official 30-minute documentary for the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas. Featuring interviews with various Medal of Honor recipients, VP of the Dallas Cowboys Charlotte Jones, and former chief astronaut at NASA Chris Cassidy.
He also Led the cinematography on a 12-part episodic masterclass series called “The art of delegation”, featuring interviews with individuals such as Michelin star chef Grant Achatz and Google’s first Chief Scientist of AI. The series was filmed across 11 states, over 3 months, and working with over 50 individuals amongst all camera crews.
In 2023, Diego Directed and led the cinematography to "Our Dallas" the show opening film to the American Advertising Awards ceremony, which was shot entirely with Virtual production technology and won a bronze TELLY award. In addition, he has successfully shot over 50 films utilizing LED virtual production, and is an expert with the technology.
In 2021 Diego worked at LERMA Agency (named Ad Ages "Advertising agency of the year) as a Content Producer, taking on a versatile role that spanned all in-house production needs. This experience not only sharpened his technical skills but also gave him a holistic understanding of how the Advertising world operates.
Diego's work has been recognized with industry honors, including an Emmy nomination, two TELLY wins, and a ADDY win. His career is a testament not only to artistic vision but also to the leadership, discipline, and collaborative spirit essential to working as a Director of Photography on complex productions at a high level.
Diego is based in Dallas, Texas and enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and family.
