Diego Noriega is a EMMY nominated Cinematographer whose work blends striking visuals with purposeful storytelling, establishing himself as one of DFWโs most trusted Cinematographers behind the camera.
Most recently, Diego led the cinematography on ๐๐๐ข ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐, a commercial filmed in Brazil ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup, shot in the iconic Tavares Bastos Favela. The production brought together a ๐ฒ๐ฌ+ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ and local youth players, whose real connection to the game grounded the film in authenticity. Shot entirely on location, the project stands as one of the most meaningful and successful productions of Diegoโs career, blending cultural truth, large scale logistics, and emotionally driven storytelling.
In 2025 Diego Directed and led the cinematography on โ๐๐๐ญโ๐ฌ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฒ' a commercial for Dallas Trinity FC womenโs pro soccer team, airing throughout Peacock TV Fall 2025. He also served as the Cinematographer for '๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ & ๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ', the official 30-minute documentary for the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas, which plays daily at the museum's theatre. Featuring individuals such as VP of the Dallas Cowboys Charlotte Jones, former NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy, and multiple Medal of Honor recipients.
Diego also Led the cinematography on a 12-part episodic series '๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง', featuring individuals such as Michelin star chef Grant Achatz and Googleโs first Chief Scientist of AI. The series was filmed across 11 states, over 3 months, with over 50 individuals amongst all camera crews. In 2024, Diego directed and led the cinematography to '๐๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ' the show opening film to the American Advertising Awards ceremony, shot entirely with Virtual production. In addition, he has successfully shot over 50 films utilizing LED virtual production technology.
Diego's work has been recognized with industry honors, including an ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, two ๐๐๐๐๐ wins, and two ๐๐๐๐ wins. He has shot for brands including 7-Eleven, Pizza Hut, American Airlines, Ebay, and Apple. His work is driven by authenticity, bringing together culture, craft, and leadership to create stories that resonate far beyond the screen. Whether leading large crews or intimate documentary moments, his focus remains the same: honest storytelling executed at the highest level. Diego is currently represented by DHD Films as the Senior Director of Photography.
